Project Special™ uses a three tier
security system to stop hackers. Tier one is built in networking. No
need for network shares that can allow a person access to Project
Special™'s database files directly. Tier II is a physical security
measure. A license key is
required at each work station to allow access to Project Special™.
Tier III is a set of password levels in the program to allow certain
people access to only certain parts of the program. Project Special™'s
three tiers of security exceeds the state of New Jersey's
recommended security for protecting classified student information.
- Project Special™ is easy to
update.
Updates are easy to apply.
Complete and comprehensive instruction are given to aid users and
administrators to properly update the Project Special™ database. Most of
the time the end user is able to update the database with minimal effort.
When more advanced options, as stated above, administrator will be
needed. Clients connected to the web with an e-mail account can receive e-mailed updates through our e-mail client only update mailing list.
Disks and CD's are eliminated. Our support staff notify districts of an
update. The client installs the files in seconds with minimal effort.
